SEAI Grants – Home Energy Upgrades
Seai grant help homeowners to improve the energy efficiency of their homes, reducing costs and carbon emissions. There are a number of home energy upgrades that you can get assistance with, such as installing loft, external or cavity wall insulation, heat pumps and solar PV systems. These can make a huge difference to your home and reduce your energy bills and emissions.
Insulation Grants – Free For All Dwellings Built Before 2011
The Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland (SEAI) provides insulation grants to all homeowners, landlords and community projects who are interested in improving the energy efficiency of their homes. These can be used to install loft, external or cavity wall insulation and for air to water heat pump systems.
Whether you are a homeowner or landlord, the Better Energy Home scheme has a range of grants to suit your budget. All you have to do is complete an application and then submit your work and receive a payment.
Heating Upgrades – Greatly Improved Grant Support
The Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland is offering greatly improved support for home energy upgrade works, up to 80% of the cost. This is available to homeowners and private landlords without means testing.
Heat Pump Installation & Upgrades
As part of the Government’s initiative to encourage home energy upgrades, they are offering a EUR3,500 grant towards the cost of an air to water heat pump system. This is a good alternative to traditional heating methods and will lower your energy costs and carbon emissions.
